Local authorities are the agencies with statutory responsibility for ensuring the provision of adult social care. Adult social care services provide vital help and support to enable people to live their lives as fully, independently and safely as possible, despite illness or accidents, frailty, olda age, disability or vulnerability.
We work on behalf of local authorities to raise awareness and tackle the challenges that local authorities are facing in delivering adult social care.
Our work covers a wide range of policy areas including:
- Integration of health and adult social care;
- Funding of adult social care;
- Better Care Fund.
- Devolution of health and care
